01 Overview

Why visit Maasai Mara

Kenya's most iconic reserve. Endless golden plains, the Big Five, and the Maasai people who have shared this land with wildlife for centuries.

The Maasai Mara National Reserve is the northern continuation of the Serengeti ecosystem. From July to October, over 1.5 million wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle cross the Mara River in one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on Earth. Year-round, the reserve supports exceptional densities of lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, and buffalo. Hot-air balloon safaris at dawn are unforgettable.
